What I'm looking at today: Items for a Library/Dining Room

I love books....to quote Bunny Bixler; " I think books are so decorative' and I love eating.....but today, with Kindle and our less formal lifestyle no one really needs a dining room or a library....so why not  combine the two.......and the upside is that with one less room, you can afford much better furnishings!

This is a nice pair of French neoclassical side tables that would work well in any room.

Frances Elkins chairs. These are stylish and still mod.

A nice pair of French garnitures

The inspiration for my Library Dining/Room

19th c French botanicals

Plaster busts......always good to have a few of these lurking around. Athena here is a bit large, she comes in at just over 3' tall so it wouldn't work atop a bookcase....unless it's a huge room....

Rosewood table. Always love these types of tables.

Bookcases in the style of John Soan. Extremely stylish and deceptively  complex. I love the mirror inserts....the proportions are nice too.
