What I'm looking at today: Console Tables

I work with a lot of pickers and am always getting pictures of items for my consideration. I've recently been sent numerous examples of console tables to choose from. I tend to like placing these tables in hallways, entrance halls and vestibules and sometimes they can live in living or dining rooms depending on the scheme.

A nice French example with caryatides

A pair of William IV tables in mahogany

A painted example, also William IV

This one, again William IV has a bit too much carving on the apron for my taste

In a different direction is this American Empire example with marble columns and paw feet. I do like the traces of gilding.

An interesting Anglo Indian table with stylized fish supports.

A nice Georgian table with a yellow marble top. I wish I could use them all!
